Christie Sobczak, M.S.W.
Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Ms. Sobczak received her Masters of Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond. Most recently, she is taking coursework in Psychoanalysis and Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy through the Psychoanalytic Education Center of the Carolinas.
Along with symptom relief, Ms. Sobczak focuses on helping her clients gain a greater understanding of themselves so that they may experience more meaningful relationships, achieve their goals, and find a sense of fulfillment.
Areas of specialty include depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, trauma, abuse, grief and loss. She has particular skills in exploring family-related issues such as codependency, attachment, adoption, separation, divorce and remarriage. She works with adults, couples, adolescents and children.
